About the firm.
Do you only handle immigration cases?
Our practice is exclusively focused on immigration law. As a courtesy to clients we already represent on immigration matters, we also handle estate planning and uncontested divorces — but we do not take those matters from new, non-immigration clients.
Do you take complex or previously denied cases?
Yes. A significant portion of our work involves matters that other attorneys have declined or that require an appeal of a prior denial. The harder the case, the more important careful preparation becomes.
Will I work directly with the attorney?
Yes. Every matter is handled personally by Shifa Soressa. You will not be passed from associate to associate or hear about your case secondhand.
What languages does your office speak?
Our office is multilingual and we regularly work with interpreters when needed. Tell us your preferred language when you reach out and we will make arrangements for your consultation.
How do consultations work?
We schedule a focused initial consultation to understand your situation, identify the realistic options, and quote a flat fee for the work in writing before anything begins.
